Dear Mum & Kath
Many thanks for letters – I will send the wool on sometime when I can manage to get into town. As you will no doubt have heard I’ve had another shaky ‘do’ and had to put down in Norfolk fortunately without mishap to anybody. It was a Yankie aerodrome and they were very decent to us and made us comfortable for a couple of days until the plane was ready again.
I managed to send a nice fat partridge home to Violet the other day and think she enjoyed it but
[page break]
Pat was not so struck! I am going again tomorrow so shall try to ‘bag’ another one for them.
Well cheerio best wishes for the New Year to all 3 of you.
Yours
Frank
