THE FOUR KORDITES
[Photograph]
Many Leigh people have been closely following the progress of the four local boys who have been broadcasting regularly since the end of last September, and who have now grown to be great favourites in the North. To-night (Friday, at 8-40p.m.), The Four Kordites will be heard in the main Regional programme in a “A Right Good Do,” in which George Formby and other well known artists are taking part. It is interesting to notice that this programme, which is relayed from the Manchester studios, has received more publicity [missing letters]an any previous Northern feature. Since practically all the artists are [missing letter]ancashire born, it must be considered somewhat an honour for Leigh to be represented in such an important programme.
Incidentally, this will be The Four Kordites’ seventh broadcast.
