'S' for Sugar

Description

Lancaster R5868. Annotated on the reverse ' "S" for sugar the famous Lancaster of 467 Squadron Scampton, part of 53 Base Waddington. It completed a record-breaking 137 operations before being retired. It first flew from RAF Scampton in 1942 and is now in the RAF museum. It is/was one of the most famous aircraft of Bomber Command'.
