Dear Ma.
I am now in British hands after a few adventures with the Italian farmers in the hills. We escaped from camp 12/9/43 and met our advance forces on the 13/10/43. am on the way home in small hops. Will write from next Place if Possible. My Health and spirits are good. So Don’t worry. Twenty eight days leave at least are waiting for me. on arrival.
