Dear Ma,
I am still in the Same Hospital but will be moved by the time you this Letter. When I get a more fixed address I’ll tell you to write to me. Please do not worry about me I’m not Hurt or in bad health. I am being treated well so far and am in good company. The other Lads are cheerfull [sic]. We just want this war to finnish [sic] as soon as possible so [deleted letter] that we can come home. I’m afraid I’ve lost that watch you bought me. We are getting the same food the Station troops get so we can’t grumble at the Food. I Hope you are all Keeping in good Health and spirits. Remember me to all my Friends. We are only allowed to write once a week and I’ll write to you.
