Dear Mrs Pickford,
With further reference to my letter of the 24th inst., I am sorry to say that information has been received from the International Red Cross Society stating that Sgt. Hyde died of wounds on 3.6.41. and was buried at Tripoli.
I have not received any news of W/Cdr. Pepper, but if I have any information I will pass it on to you. A cable from R.A.F. Malta states that they have not received any news of any member of the crew.
