13 LUG 1943
Dear Ma, No mail received here this week. Everything is O.K. Parcels continue regularly. My Pass ball team won two games this week. We are forth [sic] in the league now. Our cricket team “The Gash” are top having won all six games. England won thier [sic] second soccer game and the engraved watches. Bill had word of his mothers visit to you, and is very Pleased indeed. He is O.K and getting good mail just now. The news here is first Class Keep it up. Aurther George is O.K and nips over to see me quite often. I have been attending a P.T. Class every morning Since Last Mon and intend to carry on as long as it lasts. Sunbathing is very Popular as cricket can be watched at the same time. I am certainly acquiring a tan which I could not do at home. Please Remember me to all at home. I am in the Best of Health again and hope all at home are the same on recipt [sic] of this letter
