Dear Ma, The only mail received this week was a letter from Finsbury Park. All is well here, I am indulging in any sport I can get into My team “The Gash” are top of the “b” league cricket and have played and won two games we are high Up in the fourth Division Pass ball being in The Queens,’ This team has Played three and won two and drew the remaining one. I strained a leg muscle at Pass ball and was unable to turn out for my Room football team the First week I’ve missed in many. Bill is Rather despondent about his lack of mail. He has only had about a Dozen since capture. Commencing tomorrow “Monday” we each draw a New Zealand Parcel in place of the usual English. It is a change we are looking forward to. Did you write to Air Ministry Re my Accounts etc. if not do so as soon as you are in Receipt of this letter, and forward result to me. I am in good Health and Spirits Hoping all at Home are ditto. Your Loving Son Leslie
