Dear Ma, Mail has dropped off during the Past few weeks. I received no letters last week, but! on thursday I collected my March clothing and a Baccy Parcel. Tonight I am going to see a Show by one of the camp Bands. Cricket is getting a stronger Hold on the Boys. Pass ball is also very Keenly Played. Knock-out and Legue [sic] games are being Played from half Past five in the morning to nine thirty at night. News is better than ever. Minnie has been here daily for weeks. Aurther George Recieved [sic] his [undecipherable word] clothing yesterday. When you next write to Bills People tell them he is Bald again having lost at Drraughts [sic]. He lost it last year when I did. I have’nt been tempted this season yet and hope to repel temptation when it comes along. Ludo is popular for the Present. The weather here is Glorious being about one twenty degrees in the shade. I am in good health and spirits hoping all at home are ditto Your Loving Son Leslie
