Dear Ma, I’ve had no mail at all this last week. We are receiving Bulk food next week in Lieu of Parcels and parcels the following week. The weather has been good all week. Some men have left this camp during last week and more are leaving next week. We enjoyed watching two good games of football wed and sat. The R.A.F are playing number four compound at cricket today. An Irish Cardinal has been here for the last three days on a special Visit from the Vatican City he has been holding R.C. services in English for the men concerned. Aurther George is O.K and is getting paid O.K. from Home. His Brothers and winnie. [1.5 lines censored] I am not on the Private Parcel list again this week, I've had one clothing and one Fag parcel since Xmas. This is about the worst of the old Prisoners here. I am in the Best of Health and Spirits and hope you and all at home enjoy the Same.
Your Loving Son
Leslie.
