Dear Ma, The only mail received this week were from Edith and [indecipherable word] Hallaway and Flo sharpe. It is queer, but most, in fact the larger majority of my mail is from the fairer sex. Anyhow it is more than welcome as it would be hard luck if I had to rely up the men. Everything is O.K. here. The weather is good, Red cross Parcels are in, and the news is very cheerfully optimistic. Aurther George is O.K. and Receiving mail. Up to date I am the only one in this camp in Reciept [sic] of a Relative Group photograph. I am certainly envied by many. Yesterday nearly all the camp turned out to watch the Final of the Inter-Regiment Football Knockout competition which was won by the Engineers. Have you met Reg Frame yet. All at London apear [sic] to be in the Best of Health and spirits as I am enjoying and Hoping it is as good for all at Home. Please Remember me to all. Space is short now and as it is three thirty I must Close for to Brew our afternoon tea. Your Loving Son.
Leslie.
