PRESUMED DEAD. – Sergt. W.C. Norman, aged 27 R.A.F., of 30, Calvert – terrace, Murton, who was reported missing on air operations in October last year. He was formerly a miner at Murton Colliery.

Official word has been received that Sergt. W.C. Norman (27), R.A.F. of 30 Calvert Terrace. Murton, who was reported missing on air operations in October last year is now presumed to have lost his life at that time. He was formerly a miner at Murton Colliery.
