Dear Ma, I received two letters from Winnie and my forth [sic] clothing Parcel; which was complete this week. Send Plenty of chocolate in Place of clothing now as I have all I need in the way of Shirts and underwear. Continue to send socks, toothpaste, soap etc. Things are O.K here but is getting steadily colder. Parcels from the Red cross run out next week so we are Praying for some more to arrive very soon. I am having all my top teeth out so my gums should be hard enough for an impression to be taken imediatly {sic} I arrive Home. I have only Seven more to come out now in to batches of four and three, a week in between each. I am in the Best of Health and spirits and Hope all at home are the same. Pleased to Hear Stanley Visits Unchle [sic] Jims. Please Remember me to all and give my Regards, Mail is Poor just now but Private Parcels seem to be coming Regular. Your Loving Son
