Dear Ma, I have had two letters from you this week and a letter and Birthday Card from Nellie, also one letter from Winnie. The Manchester Battle ship week was Very Good. Keep it up. Fay and [indecipherable word] Parcels are arriving here Regular now about 1,000 a week. I am expecting one of yours any Time now. The Red Cross should’nt have left you waiting so long for my second [indecipherable word] they don’t do it to anybody else. Food Parcels are a thing of the Past it is eight weeks since we last had one. We are all Very disappointed with the Red Cross.

have you sent any invalides [sic] Comforts Parcels yet. Have you had your allotment increased or the other money I have had sent to you. Your Latest letter I have Received is the 5th march. I must close now. hoping this letter finds you in the same Good Health and spirits but not as hungry as it leaves me.
