I am directed to refer with regret to the fact that your son was reported missing on the 3rd June, 1941 and to inform you that payment of the voluntary allotment now in issue will be continued until 2nd July, 1941.
After that date you will be entitled to a temporary allowance from public funds of 14s. 0d per week, and this amount will continue to be payable until 1st October, 1941. You are accordingly requested to return your Order Book No. MZ/5.073318 to this Department as soon as possible after encashment of the order due on 25th September, 1941.
Any temporary allowance which may be

I am to add that you will be informed if it should become necessary to modify these arrangements in the light of any subsequent information received in regard to the airman.
