Dear Madam, In reply to your letter of last month, I am sending you two photographs of Sgt Luxton's grave at [indecipherable name] as you will see, he has been buried with the four companions who were with him. I should be grateful if you would tell Mrs Luxton that I beg her not to fix her attention on these photos. I is perfectly natural that she wishes to see them but that must not prevent her from looking higher and farther, to the resurrection of the dead, promised in Gods word. At Bernary there is one of your fellow countrymen who looks after the graves to see that they are

I have Sgt Jacksons but I would like to have the other three if you have them. Please convey to Mrs Luxton my deepest sympathy, in the name of OUR LORD

Yours sincerely
