Dear Arthur,
i am writing these few lines as i so often wonder how you are i have not heard from you since i came back to Launceston how is your Dad now & all your famley [sic] all so [sic] your Lady friend all i want to no [sic] my dear is every thing going well with you and as it is near exmass [sic] i would like to have just a few lines just to lett [sic] me no [sic] if all is well & what kind of work are you doing have you gone in to the teaching yet if so i wish you all the best of luck dear they have sent me temporary photo of a Cross of dear Robers grave and say that at a latter date a head stone will be put there it is very nice but as you no [sic] i don’t want any reminders of it but i am sure it is sent with a good

a kind spiret [sic] it will soon be 6. years but it is 7 years to me as i had not seen him for 12 months befor [sic] now my dear i hope & trust that you are well & happy please give my kind regards to your Lady friend now i will say good night & God Bless & keep you well & happy from your loving Louise Turner xxxxxxx
