[underlined] WARSAW CQ. [/underlined]
[inserted] (IN) [/inserted] In [sic] the night of ??.3.44 from P/W camp No. ??? of the Luft waffe in SAGAN British Flying Officers escaped 1/2 [sic] Apparently they had on over their uniforms overcoats smeared with sand and are pretending ot [sic] be French civilian workers. Probable direction of flight BERLIN and/or BRESLAU but it is also quite possible that they are making for the General Gouvernement [sic]. Please send out an alarm addrssed [sic] to Kripo and Grenzpolizeistellen: to be passed on to all.

[inserted] (70) [/inserted] 70 British officers recaptured. Extraordinary state of search to be reduced to strengthened state of search (war-time). Search and guard over railways and borders to be continued in full force. Wehrmacht must continue search with adequate forces.
