Eastwoods are resigned to their loss and have advertised, I dont think you'll have got away from them until you're safely installed at the Naafi, or nearby.&#13;

I've just returned from visiting Jack and he's a lot better tonight, his temperature has gone down and the pain is decreasing, apparently its a form of dysentery there are one or two more cases on the camp.&#13;

Yesterday I went and saw the Adjutant about the leave scheme, he said as I had'nt heard the accommodation is booked and I&#13;

shall receive notification about ten days before going. I hope this is correct, We get told so many fairy stories these days, however we've a new adjutant coming and Ill have a go at him. regarding the leave proper I'm waiting until the flight commander returns before starting things moving however I don't expect any difficulty.&#13;

I received a letter from Mum and Dad yesterday and a parcel arrived today, please tell them if you see them.&#13;
&#13;
Well dear, theres not a lot to write about at the moment, it seems so long since I saw you, yet it was only last Saturday (exactly 117 hrs 3 minutes).&#13;
