Pilots flying log book for A F Barralet, covering the period from 19 November 1938 to 14 November 1940, when he was shot down on operations and became a prisoner of war. He was stationed at RAF White Waltham, RAF Bexhill, RAF Brough, RAF Hullavington, RAF Abingdon, and RAF Linton on Ouse. Aircraft flown in were Gypsy Moth, Tiger Moth, Blackburn B2, Anson and Whitley. He flew 2 night operations with 58 Squadron. Targets were Bremen and Berlin. His pilots on his first ‘second dickie’ operations were Wing Commander Smith and Sergeant Kerr.
