To:- F/Lt. A.F. Barralet, (85233), The Old Farmstead, Loudwater, Nr. Rickmansworth, Herts.
Date:- 30th May, 1945.
Ref:- CD/BY.1416.
I am pleased to learn that you have been repatriated to this Country, and shall be glad if you will accept my congratulations on your safe return.
2. I have received an enquiry, regarding your personal effects and find that the bulk were despatched to:-
F/O. Barralet Esq., at the above address
on 31.7.41 and 11.11.41, but those enumerated on the enclosed inventory which are now being sent were retained here in safe custody on Air Ministry instructions, pending your return.
3. When the effects reach you, kindly sign and return the enclosed inventory for which purpose a prepaid addressed label is also enclosed herewith.
