Pilot Officer Reg Harding Crew Missions
The crew comprising Reg Harding, Tommy Weston, Les Prendergast, Len McDermott, Billy Quance, Peter Pynisky and Stan Shaw are first seen together at 44 Squadron on 22nd March 1943. Their sorties as a full crew were as follows;
1. 22nd to 23rd March 1943 St. Nazaire
2. 27th to 28th March 1943 Berlin
3. 29th to 30th March 1943 Berlin
4. 3rd to 4th April 1943 Essen
5. 4th to 5th April 1943 Kiel
6. 8th to 9th April 1943 Duisburg
7. 9th to 10th April 1943 Duisburg
8. 18th to 19th April 1943 Spezia
9. 20th to 21st April 1943 Stettin
10. 26th to 27th April 1943 Duisburg
11. 28th to 29th April 1943 “Gardening” – Jasmine (Mine laying in the Baltic North of Lubeck) During this mission the pilot, Reg Harding, was wounded. He was out of action for almost two months. During this period the other crew members “filled in” on other crews as needed. Details follow later.

14. 28th to 29th June 1943 Cologne
15. 3rd to 4th July 1943 Cologne
