[underlined] LLANDRINDOD WELLS WELCOME HOME FUND. [/underlined]
Llandrindod Wells,
18th November 1946.
Dear Mrs Hanne,
The above Fund is now being distributed, and it has been decided that a certificate should be sent to the relatives of each of those Service men who lost their lives during the late World War recording the sincere and heartfelt sympathy of the people of this town with them in their great loss, together with a cheque for £7, the same amount that is being given to all Service men and women who have returned home. We accordingly send you the enclosed Certificate and Cheque, and sincerely trust you will accept the same in the spirit in which it is sent, that is, that those who have made the supreme sacrifice are not forgotten.
Yours sincerely
