I hereby promise that on walks, recorded overleaf, I am allowed to have outside Stalag VII-A (U/Lag.VA), I shall not escape and do nothing that might either facilitate or support my own escape or that of other Ps.O.W

Especially I promise not to do anything on the occasion of walks that might be injurious in any respect to the interests of the German Reich.

I have been warned that on the walks I have to obey the orders of the accompanying German, that I must endeavour to keep strictly reserved and that I am forbidden to have any intercourse by word or by signs with other Ps.O.W. or civilians.
