Dear Bill & Mary,

Just a few lines to let you know I’m carrying on O.K. Mick said airgraphs reached you quicker so I decided to write one instead of a letter. Yesterday I received your letter of March 10, together with two letters and a birthday card from Mick, so you can guess I was pleased. Mail is arriving fairly regularly now, thank goodness, and I hope you are getting my letters over there. As for Dennis, I’ve written him an airgraph and a letter, but haven’t had any reply, so if you do run into him or any of the family, remember me to them all and give him my best wishes for a happy life in the services. Ask him to write me, will you? I suppose Mick will be down one of these days soon, and I know you’ll show her this, so she won’t have any cause to worry. Will you tell her I send my usual message; she’ll know what that is. For now, cheerio and good luck. You can expect letters soon. Chins up. [underlined] Albert [/underlined] x x x</text>
