Observer’s and air gunner’s flying log book for R Dewey, bomb aimer, covering the period from 26 August 1942 to 13 May 1943 when he was listed as missing presumed dead. He was stationed at RAF Bobbington (also known as RAF Halfpenny Green), RAF Upper Heyford, RAF Wigsley and RAF Waddington. Aircraft flown in were Whitley, Anson, Wellington, Manchester, and Lancaster. He flew a total of 4 operations with 44 Squadron. Targets were Spezia, Duisburg, Dortmund and Pilsen.
