Hello Folks:
Well how are things going with you now. It is Sunday evening once again. Rather a cloudy day but quite warm.
Received 2 letters from you this past week. An ordinary letter May 25 and an air letter June 6. Glad to hear that you are all getting along quite well. Received a parcel of Dora’s, also a letter from Aunt Verna and one from Uncle Jack and numerous letters from Dora. Apparently she enjoyed herself at [indecipherable name] anniversary.
Regarding my receiving your parcels I always mention it when they arrive however you may not be getting all of my mail I believe this invasion will hold up my mail I have had two parcels the past 3 weeks from you. They were both repacked at base so

tie them up a little closer. We ate the steak the other day and really enjoyed it was able to get green onions, eggs and potatoes to go with it. Received chocolates from Trinity WA a week or so ago. I wrote back to Mrs. Tamblyn thanking her.
Dora sent some snaps in an envelope taken while Arch was home. Hope to hear from him soon. I understand he is over again.
So Jack Arnott is coming across [deleted] once [/deleted] What trade is Jack? Have you Johns or Georges Address? I may have leave soon.
War news is certainly good. Hope it continues that way. I am with the Lion Squadron at present. They are called the Hollywood Squadron. Movie Stars send parcels but I haven’t got any as yet
I expect you are busy haying at present hope that dads health holds out. Sorry to hear that you are not feeling up to the mark mother. Take good care of yourself. Guess Grant is a very busy man would appreciate a letter anytime from him
