Hello Folks:
Well its Sunday evening and almost the end of May. Has been a grand week so far as the weather is concerned very warm and not much rain for a change.
I am settled down on my new station, having been there since last Monday.
Received 3 letters from Dora this week also 2 from Uncle Jack and one from Arnott and Mary. I also received 3 parcels all from Dora. One box of chocolates and two large parcels. So I have [deleted] ing [/deleted] been doing quite well. I am hoping to hear from you folks again soon. My last letter was a week ago I believe.
Dora mentioned Jesse and you all being down there for supper and something about Gwen spraining her angle [sic] also about Grant loving his pocket book.
I understand Arch is on his way back now and may be here by this time.
I spent one day this past week by the sea-side A really wonderful beach and bathing facilities. It looked a little cool to me but some were swimming I have some post cards I bought which I will send to you soon.
Hope your chickens are doing fine and spraying is coming along ok. According to Uncle Jack you are all quite well. His letters were posted a month apart and I received them the same day. Mail is certainly queer how it gets mixed up

[page break]

Everything is going fine with me. I'm getting awful fat and lazy I’m afraid. It would be very hard to work for a living now after lying around so much. However I manage to get the time in. I can't say much of what I'm doing. They are checking our mail very close lately.
Must soon close for to-night, will write next week
