Photo 1 - On the reverse 'No. 23 The Suez Canal War memorial on Gebel Mariam near Ismailia (Architect Roux-Spitz) imposing Monument, commemorating the defence of the Canal during the Great war. Unveiled in November 1929'.
Photo 2 - On the reverse 'No. 14 Port Tewfik War memorial at the entrance of the Suez Canal, a granite Obelisk of 65 feet sided by 2 crouching tigers and erected to the honour of the Indian soldiers who fell in Egypt and Palestine during the Great War'.
