He flew operations as a pilot with 106 Squadron. After a period of instructing he returned to operations on 582 Squadron but was shot down and became a prisoner of war.&#13;

The collection was loaned to the IBCC Digital Archive for digitisation by Andrew Wareing and catalogued by Nigel Huckins. </text>

In regard to the question of moving the car it is regretted that no carriers note for movement by rail can be issued for moving cars belonging to missing personnel, even if it was on this Station. There is an arrangement for movement of cycles by rail, which is probably the authority you were thinking of.&#13;

Your civilian[deleted]s[/deleted] petrol coupon issueing [sic]authority should be able to provide you with the necessary coupons for moving the car from Market Harborough to your home address, if you will show this correspondence and the Registration Certificate.&#13;
