Interview with Karl Leeb
Description
Karl Leeb was a German pilot from Kempten, Bavaria. He completed basic and applicant training at Marienbad and Danzig in 1943. After continuing as an instructor, Karl trained at instrument school near Breslau. He later became a night fighter pilot, serving in Mainz and Austria during 1945. After the war, he went to the United States and Halifax, Canada. Karl married an Estonian in 1965 and became a naturalised US citizen in 1969. By 1988, he joined the night fighter association in Reading, Pennsylvania.
