The collection consists of letters, documents and photographs related to Sergeant George William Wilson (1580045 Royal Air Force). He was a bomb aimer with 576 Squadron RAF Elsham Wolds. His Lancaster, ND403 took off on a bulls-eye training exercise 12 May 1944 but failed to return. His crew were reported missing, presumed killed.
